IS AMERICA A CHRISTIAN NATION?

The easy and simple answer to the above question is NO.  A Nation does not have a soul; does not live forever; does not have a sinful nature; cannot accept a substitutionary death; does not have the indwelling Holy Spirit, and has no eternal consequence for actions.  From a Biblical perspective, a Nation cannot be Christian since the Theology of salvation must include sin, repentance and eternity.  But the question continues to linger...IS AMERICA A CHRISTIAN NATION? 

The easy and simple answer to the above question is YES.  Ah. We seem to have a dilemma. Not at all. America was founded on Biblical principles.  The men and women who founded this great Country wanted a society based on morality, equality, justice, peace and righteousness...and those ideas were developed from the Word of God.  America was indeed founded as a nation that honors the Lord Jesus Christ.

For this blog, I will take very little space to prove that point.  Wallbuilders and many other sources have done a thorough job. Look at The Mayflower Compact; the Declaration of Independence; the Preamble to all 13 original Colonies; The Old Deluder Satan Act of 1647; McGuffey readers; Washington DC and countless more proof.  In 1892, the United States Supreme Court issued the declaration that we are a Christian Nation.  So, what does it mean to be a Christian Nation?

The United States of America started long before 1776.  Christopher Columbus wanted to evangelize foreign soil.  In 1584, the Charter given for Virginia was to be valid ONLY if the new territory was designed like the Church of England.  The Mayflower Compact ensured the Gospel of Jesus in 1620.  And so this new experiment was started.

Everything hinges on a specific set of parameters.  People today have not heard much about a subject called "World View", yet most people have one based on ignorance.  This world-view is the product of education.  The education in America has been intentionally kidnapped and overtaken by atheist socialists who have followed the teachings of John Dewy since the early 1930's. Again, no desire to 'prove' this point.  John Dewey is called the Father of Modern Education, and he was an avowed atheist and socialist who wrote and signed the Humanist Manifesto I. His world-view has been taught for close to 80 years. There is, however, another world-view.  It is called a "Biblical World-View", and it is based on Biblical principles.

A Biblical World-View has numerous precepts.   A few include: the sinfulness of man,  the Providence and Sovereignty of God,  Creation,  Jesus as the Messiah, salvation, the authority of the Bible, eternity and more.  By looking at the world through the prism of the Bible as the inerrant Word from God Himself, each person sees everything differently.  We humans are here for a reason.  We have a purpose.  There are right standards and there will be consequences or blessings based on behavior. We have a responsibility, and we are accountable.  These ideas change everything!  Our thoughts, decisions, actions and even our motives are now under Divine scrutiny. How does this work in reality?

When the Founders began this new Country, they understood the sinful nature of human beings.  Laws were presented and passed based on Biblical principles.  There are Congressional records that prove times like this: a man stood in Congress, and said: "I saw this in the Bible this morning.".  Others would then say that if it is in the Bible, we want it for laws.  Laws were passed to adhere to Biblical principles.  THAT is the way America was founded, established, organized and run!  These critical issues built a Nation whose foundation was to please the Creator of the Universe... a Christian Nation was birthed.  

Here we are in 2012 with all sorts of organizations, individuals, ethnic groups and religions wanting; DEMANDING their view as the one to rule America.  Our current politicians and laws seem to indicate that we were never a Nation built on Biblical principles; that we never had anything that resembled a Biblical World-View, nor did we ever suppose ourselves to be a Christian Nation.  How do we reconcile where we are with where we were?  How do we live together with all of our diversity?  How can a Nation so divided become what our Fore-Fathers dreamed of America being?  Again, the answer is simple.

We must raise three generations on a Biblical World-View to get back to where we were.  It will take 70 years of consistent teaching and patient endurance, but it is possible.  Here is how it will look.  We already have the foundation.  The house has already been built.  Everything we need is already in place.  It is as if others have done ALL the manual labor, and all we need to do is enjoy the fruit of their blood, sweat and tears. Here is how it will 'flesh-out'. 

Suppose we now live in a Christian Nation.  Our laws, our principles, our convictions, our character and our integrity are all the out-pouring of our Christian ideals. We do not demand conformity by everyone or anyone.  We allow each and every person to live their life as they want!  FREEDOM means that each person is free to live based on their own desires.  While we do not demand conformity, neither do we yield or surrender our foundation.  People live their lives under the umbrella of a free society designed to protect them!  If an individual wants to be 'independent', regardless of how that life style appears, they are free to live as they want. Every citizen is free to live as their conscience dictates...within the parameters of our existing laws. If a person wants to drive 190 per hour, we have laws to protect others from that.  If a person wants to live as an Atheist, we have laws to protect and defend the right and lifestyle of an Atheist. If and when any citizen lives their life based on their own conscience, they are free to live the way they choose.  So, freedom in a Christian Nation allows for ALL citizens to live as they choose, without interference from Government infringements.  However, there is a caveat.  As a Christian Nation, we make no demand for conformity to "our" principles and foundation.  We do not force obedience and submission.  At the same time, we do not relinquish those same principles or its foundation to citizens who DEMAND it.  An Atheist is free to not worship as he/she chooses.  That Atheist should get no support when he/she tries to demand that the Christian Nation that protects his right to be an Atheist give up the very foundation that provides freedom to worship or not worship. That leads to anarchy which produces tyranny.  America is the land of the free and the home of the brave.  People live as they want to. The foundation, based on biblical principles, provides the umbrella for this freedom. Any attempt by a citizen to demand adherence to their way of life will only subvert the entire system   There are countless illustrations of how this works.  The bottom line is clear:  freedom provides a safe harbor for people to live as they want. It does not provide a platform for people to demand allegiance to any set of guidelines contrary to the foundation of Christian principles.

Here is an easy illustration to 'test-the-water'.  Suppose you live in a country under Sharia Law.  You become a Christian who does not want your daughters mutilated or raped.  Sorry, but that is the Law of the land.  If this Christian tries to subvert the tenants of Islam, and make all Muslims tolerant to Christian beliefs, sorry, but Sharia Law takes precedence.  In America, homosexuals demand freedom to marry, which contradicts a Biblical World View.  They are free to live here, but not free to change our foundation.  Atheists demand that we not honor anything to do with Christianity.  They are free to live as Atheists. They are not free to force America to change our foundation.  The foundation that produced a Christian Nation is that Biblical World-View, and anyone living in America is free to disagree with this foundation, but the foundation remains in place for a free Country!!!! Freedom to live your life does not give you a platform to demand a new foundation.

In a foreign land under Sharia Law, these thoughts would be dealt with rather harshly.  In America, we have raised leaders who have no backbone, and we are floundering in moral quicksand. Someone needs to start the pendulum going back toward our rich heritage.  Someone, means YOU!!!  Your family.  Start today. Make it happen.  We are a Christian Nation!     

THE BLACK ROBE REGIMENT... a plea  for Pastors

During the years prior to The Revolutionary War, and during the Revolution itself, the British coined the phrase THE BLACK ROBE REGIMENT.  It was an insult, and was never meant to be a kind comment.  In reality, the British attribute the Revolution to THE BLACK ROBE REGIMENT.  The British were certain that, without this group, there would have been no revolution. So, who were these men?

Prior to the War, the Clergy preached many sermons on civic responsibility. They wore their black robes and preached about righteousness, stewardship and responsibility.  The Colonies were listening, and people began to stand up.  The result is history.  A Country was born.  A series of laws was established.  They declared themselves to be free when 56 men signed The Declaration of Independence.  They formed a Constitution to govern the new Country.  They established three distinct avenues to run the Government: Legislative, Judicial and Executive.  The laws were passed and adhered to based on Biblical principles.  THE BLACK ROBE REGIMENT was instrumental in the courage and conviction needed to win The Revolution.  THE BLACK ROBE REGIMENT was used as the catalyst to birth a new Country under the providence of the Creator of the Universe.  To these men, we owe a debt.

In Hebrews 12:1,2, we read about a great cloud of witnesses surrounding us.  Perhaps it is THE BLACK ROBE REGIMENT.  In 2 Kings 6:16,17, those around Elisha might have been the ones guiding THE BLACK ROBE REGIMENT.  Regardless, we are a generation of believers who will stand accountable for what we do. We have a heritage of men before us who stood tall in the Pulpit and brought into existence a way of life that millions worldwide today dream of living.  It is our turn to put on those black robes, even if symbolically.  The pastors of 2012 will stand accountable for how we present the Gospel and how we lead by example.

In 2012, THE BLACK ROBE REGIMENT has been called back to active duty.  Search the Internet.  Look at what Wallbuilders has written about THE BLACK ROBE REGIMENT.  Make the decision to enlist, and make a difference in your community.  We owe those men.  We owe our Country.  We are indebted to those who have gone on before us, and we must raise the Standard to restore the Honor that goes with America, the Beautiful. ESTHER 10:3 FOR YOU TODAY

Recently, our church did a Precept course on the Book of Esther.  It was a short course, only 4 weeks long.  The Book is a fabulous Old Testament Book.  It is the ONLY Book in the Bible that never mentions God.  However, He is in every chapter and in every scene.  It is awesome to see His Hand, His Sovereignty and His plan for history in this one Book.  But to me, the culmination and key verse is the very last verse in the Book.

Mordecai is Esther's older cousin.  Her parents died and Mordecai raised her.  When the King was looking for a new Queen, Mordecai gave her instructions which she followed.  It was Mordecai who heard of a plot to kill the King, and he told Esther who told the King.  The Jews were spared because of Esther and Mordecai.  It is truly a fascinating account in the Old Testament Book of Esther. But again, the key verse should be the last verse:  Esther 10:3.

Regardless of the translation you use, here is what it says about Mordecai:  he sought the good of his people, and he spoke of the welfare of his nation.  WOWOWOWOW

There are verses that I read and say "That is a tombstone verse".  This is now one of my favorite tombstone verses.  Mordecai was a nobody with no thought of ever becoming an anybody...but it was his custom to seek the good of people and to speak on behalf of the welfare of his nation.  He never expected anything 'earth-shattering' to happen to him.  It was his CHARACTER.  It was who he was.  It was a natural way for him to live.  He was constantly looking for ways to help people and speak on behalf of his nation.  The Lord took an individual named Mordecai...ONE VOICE... and used him to protect the Jews from total annihilation.

How could the Lord use you?  Are you willing to serve people and speak on behalf of your nation?  Are you okay with doing both while remaining anonymous???  Is it your character?  Is it who you are?  If yes, may I encourage you to KEEP GOING.  If this is not who you really are, may I say that it is not to late to change!

May you make Esther 10:3 such a reality in your life that others would want that to be on your tombstone.

IS THERE AN ADULT IN WASHINGTON DC????

The President has given permission to KILL the Bald Eagle, even though there are 2 separate laws protecting the eagle.  As a reminder, the Bald Eagle is a symbol of the strength of our country.  In Lakeland, Florida, a Democrat headquarters office has a new flag flying with the American Flag.  The new flag has a picture of the President inside the blue area.  Last week, Leon Panetta, Secretary of Defense, told a Senate Committee that he and the President would seek permission of the United Nations and  NATO rather than Congress regarding military action against Syria.  This week, Panetta went to Afghanistan to see our troops.  Rightfully so, after two high ranking officers were shot in the back of the head by Afghanistan military INSIDE a secure building and inside an even more secure room, Panetta had the Afghans unarmed for his meeting.  In an effort to be fair, the Secretary of Defense had the United States Marines DISARMED!!!!!!!  Oh, there is one more... Last week, President Obama signed HR-347 into Law.  It was passed 399-3 in the House, and by "unanimous consent" in the Senate.  By looking at the Title, it is a "snoozer" Bill.  As you read the Bill, it says that wherever the Secret Service is protecting anyone...even if the individual is not there yet...the Secret Service has the discretion to ARREST an American citizen for whom THEY BELIEVE is being harmful in their speech!!!  WOWOWOW. Actually, there is more news DAILY, and it will continue unfettered unless someone stands up to these crimes.

Judge Napolitano has come out strongly opposed to this new Law which was signed almost in secret by the President.  True, Gabrielle Gifford was severely wounded while others died that day.  Free speech, however, is a Constitutional right that we hold dearly...at least we used to.

As long as the Administration is allowed to continue to flaunt, ignore and trash the United States Constitution without any opposition, we hasten the demise of what used to be called THE GREATEST COUNTRY ON THE FACE OF THE EARTH!

Is there an adult in Washington DC who will stand up for WE THE PEOPLE??????

OBAMA, TENTH AMENDMENT AND TEXAS VOTERS

In November, 2011, the State of Texas voted to require a picture identification card for all who VOTE.  In early March, 2012, the Obama Administration is trying to stop this law from taking effect!  The Administration says it will "disenfranchise" thousands of Hispanic registered voters.  Now, let's briefly examine this scenario.

If this same person wants to cash a payroll check, they will need a picture ID.  If this person is driving and gets stopped for ANY reason, a picture ID is required.  To buy a boat title, tag registration or insurance policy, a photo ID is required.  If you use a credit card at the Post Office, they now require a photo ID to confirm who is charging.  To open a bank account, a photo ID is needed.  If you fly in a commercial airline, a photo ID is required. When you go to a new Doctor, or fill a prescription, a photo ID is required.  When you apply for a job, a photo ID is part of the application process.  The list is almost endless... a photo identification card is just REQUIRED for life in our society today. Regardless how poor the individual is, they understand the importance of having a photo identification card of some sorts, and they will obtain that card.  The cost is usually around $10, but could be as much as $25 !!!! WOW.

Now, suppose a baby is born in America.  By age 5, this child will most likely have a Social Security card.  As the child gets older, the identification is confirmed in school by Kindergarten.  A Birth Certificate is required, and most likely, the school will need the Social Security number.  By the First Grade, a child in America is starting to have a firm understanding of how serious your identification verification is.

Suppose an adult comes to America as an Immigrant.  Not a problem!  They have completed the paperwork, and all of the identification process has been completed.  All Government sources have confirmed the true identity o.f this person, and the necessary picture identification has been obtained, and can be provided by the individual in question.

THE ONLY PERSON who will not have such a card... the only person who would not be able to obtain such a card... the only person who the Democrat leaders are trying to protect by this maneuver  is the person who is here illegally who cannot legally obtain such a picture identification without being arrested for being here illegally.  GOOD GRIEF they think we are brain dead.

So, the intention of the Obama Administration has nothing to do with Hispanic voters who might be disenfranchised.  Their desire is to get these illegal people to vote Democrat!  And they say we are the bad guys... WOWOW.

Now, to Texas.  The voters said YES to a voter picture identification card.  Obama is saying NO.  The Tenth Amendment gives Texas the right to have their vote become the Law.  Obama continues to make decisions that are not his by Law . . . and the elected officials continue to allow him to make those improper and illegal decisions.  We need elected officials with a spin and a firm backbone.  What a sad predicament we are in as a Country!    

LEON PANETTA AND INTERNATIONAL PERMISSION

In early March, 2012, Secretary of Defense, Leon Panetta, spoke to Senator Jeff Sessions while the two men were in  Senate Committee Hearing.  Secretary Panetta confirmed that he and President Obama would seek INTERNATIONAL permission, and not Congressional permission to take military action in Syria.

As serious as that is, what is more disgusting is that the media has all but ignored this exchange.  Senator Sessions asked him to repeat his comment, and the Senator cautioned Panetta that America is a sovereign nation who needs no foreign permission.  Secretary Panetta repeated his international permission line. 

I am old, but I have heard stories about a document long ago called the CONSTITUTION.  What will it take for someone in the House of Representatives to initiate IMPEACHMENT for the brazen approach to leadership in the Executive Branch?  WHAT WILL IT TAKE?

RESPONSE TO EUGENE ROBINSON

The letter  below was sent via email to Syndicated Columnist, Eugene Robinson, Washington Post after his March 8, 2012 editorial entitled COWERING BEFORE RUSH. 

Mr. Robinson:

Over the years, I have read your articles and seen your interviews.  I seldom agree with you, but tremendously respect your right to say what you want to.  I am NOT writing to defend Rush.  However, my point is crystal clear to all.  I would love to discuss this issue with you.

There is a DOUBLE STANDARD that the media ignores, denies, laughs at and mocks when anyone brings it up. Here is my proof:  I will continue my discussion on a double standard when you provide me with your critical analysis of the verbal hatred given to: Sarah Palin, Joe the Plumber and the police officers who were doing their jobs PROFESSIONALLY while dealing with Obama's professor friend.

AH!  You have none!  Point proven.  You are all over the Rush incidence, yet you were silent while left wing garbage is the talk of the day.  But my point is even more clear.  The left wing makes these comments on a normal basis.  They are ruthless and without mercy as they destroy the character of others who have the same freedom to speak.  THAT is the point that needs to be discussed, but your side will never do that.  Instead, you find fodder for your agenda against Rush, and with reckless abandonment, you, and others, are trying to silence him from the free speech you so admire.  You who talk of tolerance for deviant behavior and lifestyle are the ones who are so intolerant about Rush Limbaugh having that same right to speak against such behavior.

Of course I have another illustration.  During the exact same week that Rush made his comments, a man named Andrew Breitbart died of supposed natural causes.  Rush made his comments, and the media has been worse than a shark feeding frenzy.  Please provide me a copy of your article condemning those obscene comments of Mr. Breitbart!  THERE ARE NONE.  Mrs. Breitbart and his children are suffering a sudden loss, and the left wing normal response is to verbally rape a dead man.  Then you who are so tolerant do your verbal and journalistic attack on Rush.  And you say we conservative people are the trouble makers in our society.  Please tolerate me long enough to disagree with you.  

RUSH AND THE LAW STUDENT

It never ceases to amaze me.  We constantly hear that conservatives are intolerant.  Those who yell the loudest that WE are intolerant are the very ones who try to censor our voices.  Rarely do you hear of Christians or conservatives mounting a rally to destroy other people.  We hear and see what is going on, and we continue our lives.  Sure, we might make comments.  Of course we will not agree with the positions taken by others, but we voice our concern and move on.  The "liberals" cannot do that.  They must take every effort to destroy any voice that might contradict them.

Obama has his health care debacle. The Catholic Church does not want to pay for "care" that contradicts their principles and Church convictions. Obama tried a compromise which is not really a compromise at all.  The Church says "No!".  Next, a law student is invited to a Congressional hearing so she can plead for Government assistance for $3,000 worth of contraceptive care. WOWOW. Rush makes comments on his show about her.  And then the drama starts.  The girl gets a call FROM THE PRESIDENT, and the media begins to summarily trash Rush into an apology.  Who won?  Not America for sure.

But there are more concerns that parallel this account.  During the exact sane week, Andrew Breitbart died suddenly from what appears to be natural causes.  The Internet is ablaze with horrible, unspeakable, vile and disgustingly untrue comments about a man who just died SUDDENLY who has a wife and young children alone now. WHERE WAS THE MEDIA coming to his defense?  They were busy trashing Rush.  Does anyone see the parallel?

Next, during the same time frame, American Military burned copies of the Koran.  Those Korans had been used by prisoners to pass notes, so they needed to be confiscated and destroyed to protect American lives.  They were burned, and the retaliation began.  American soldiers were KILLED...MURDERED.  Civilians have been killed.  For weeks now, the burning of defaced Korans has been a battle cry to kill Americans.  Lucky for us the President APOLOGIZED for what WE DID.  WOWOWOW.  He said in an interview that his apology has "calmed down the situation".  I wonder how many Americans would have been murdered if he had not apologized!  Two soldiers, a Lieutenant Colonel and a Major, were inside a secured building with Afghan military personnel when one of those took a gun to the back of their heads and shot them dead.  And our President apologizes for burning the Koran.

Afghans continue to kill people over the proper destruction of defaced Korans, and America gets blamed. 
The Breitbart family suffers the loss of a loved one while hearing the trash, and the media is silent.
The girl gets a call from the President while Rush is run over by a media size bus.

And people wonder why we are where we are today!

YOUCEF NADARKHANI
In October, 2009, this Pastor and church leader in Rahst, Iran.  His crime was being  Christian in Iran!!!  He has been sentenced to execution, and that could happen any day.  Thousands have heard of his need, and "things" are being don to delay the execution and work for his release.  The Church, the Body of Christ needs to cry out to our Heavenly Father for Youcef's protect and for our willingness to stand up for his safety!

There is so much work to be done.  At any moment, the news could come across the wires that he has been executed in Iran.  Believers: we must do our part to end the brutal reign of those who kill others because they do not agree with certain religious tenants!  WE MUST!!!

UPDATE AS OF MARCH 3, 2012...It appear that Iran may be trying to figure out a way to allow him to live due to International pressure for his safety.  ONE VOICE can make a difference.  Think about this man.  If YOU and your ONE VOICE will step up and be heard . . . and if you can get others to do the same, the volume of those ONE VOICE comments will add up to International pressure.  DO IT!

OUR CHRISTIAN HERITAGE

In America today, elected officials and community leaders are running rampantly into the darkness in their weak and cowardly attempts to appease those who say they are "offended" by Christianity in the market-place.  Nativity scenes are going.  Christmas songs are more neutral.  Easter, school prayers, the Ten Commandments and so much more are all under siege now.  Yet the Church remains silent.  WHY? Most are mentally convinced after all the brainwashing that we should keep our religious beliefs inside the four walls of our churches.  Out Founding Fathers were not like that!

The approximate 254 men we call our "Founding Fathers" selected the one man they thought was our true Founding Father.  His name is John Calvin!  Our laws came from Bible verses!  The Old Deluder Satan Law of 1647 was to establish public schools so children could learn to read the Bible.  Each community was to provide land for a church to be established.  The First Amendment was never hinted to be against organized churches.  During the months of discussion leading up the final vote, there was not a hint of the Founding Fathers wanting to separate the church from the state.  Many of our Founding Fathers were Ordained Ministers.  Harvard, Yale and Princeton were all started as Christian training colleges.  The McGuffey Reader was used in public schools to teach children how to read, using phonics and the Word of God for children!  The U.S.S.C. said we are a Christian in 1892.  The Capitol, Congress and virtually all of Washington DC have Christian symbols to confirm our Christian Heritage.  The highest place in DC is the top of the Washington Monument, and on the very top of that Monument,  there is an inscription: Laos Deo: Glory to God!

There are thousands of illustrations to prove our heritage as a Christian nation.  The list is truly almost endless, but we will stop here to keep this Post brief.  If you want more information, please do not hesitate to send us a note.

THE CATHOLIC DEBATE ON OBAMACARE

Democrats are excellent at political "bob-and weave".  Democrats are not comfortable with ethics and morality! Smoke and mirrors are needed by the magician in the Carnival, and Democrats are masters at that also. They have an agenda, and are willing to take whatever action is necessary to accomplish the intended goal.  The goal was to pass the current obamacare law.  Nancy Pelosi proudly said the law should be passed without reading the law. It was!  Now we are beginning to see the details that had been there all along.  The Catholic church has just been informed that they will be responsible for paying certain 'health-care' expenses that are contrary to Catholic beliefs.  The Catholic church has balked, and it appears that the President has blinked.  Or has he?  NO WAY.  The President has done the political "bob-and-weave", and the Catholics have seen his deceptive tactics.  They have responded openly by calling him on the deception, and they are firmly standing their ground on principle.  Now, as they always, they have throw their smoke and mirror approach.

The entire Democrat machine has changed the topic from one of ethics and principled decisions by the Catholic Church, and they have made the conversation about a side issue.  Now the Catholic church is on the defense, defending a position presented by the Democrats without a basis in reality.  The issue was whether or not the Church should pay.  Now, the Democrats have made the Church against the issue itself!  That is wrong, immoral and totally unethical...but it is the game-plan of how they operate!  There seems to be no way the Catholic Church can win on this issue since the media supports Democrats.  The Church does not want to pay for ending the life of a pre-born baby.  THAT is their principled position. Instead of arguing for the Church paying, the Democrats now argue that the Church is against ending the life of pre-born babies.  The Church IS against that also, but they have never been forced to pay for that procedure.  Now they are being forced to pay, and the Church does not want to pay.  THAT is the discussion at hand, and I say the Catholic Church should stand firm against paying for the procedure.  They have a proven track record of standing FOR LIFE while not condemning women who have had abortions.  The Democrats will not stop short of getting their way, and I encourage the Catholic Church to stand firm.

As I begin this new world of blogosphere, I want to provide a mall glimpse of me to new readers.  Hey, since I am new at this, then anyone reading now is NEW to ONE VOICE.  But my desire is that ONE VOICE becomes a familiar blog for you.  I am not wanting to entertain you.  Not at all.  Quite the contrary, I want to challenge you, admonish you, inform you and motivate you to action.  If you simply read and do nothing, you have wasted your time.  I did not say you wasted my time.  I am under compulsion to write.  I want my voice heard loud and clear as far as possible.  So, if 10 people read and 1 takes action, I am pleased.  If 1,000 read and 1 takes action, that is one more than would have taken action if I say nothing.  So, if YOU read and do nothing, it is your loss!

Now for some samples of my opinions.  I will glean news stories on a daily basis, and will write as often as possible.  Here is where I stand on some current issues.

LOBBYISTS
In 2008, I ran for State Representative.  My platform was very conservative, and I was TEA-Party before there was a TEA-Party!  I say lobbyists should provide information ONLY, and they should not be allowed to give anything in any manner to elected officials!

EDUCATION
Public education was hijacked in the 1930's by people with an agenda who were willing to lay the groundwork, knowing that it would take several generations to fulfill their goals.  Hitler had the same basic "idea", but he was anxious. He wanted to see the fruit in his lifetime.  He lost, and Dewey and those with him seem to have won.  The public schools are dominated by the philosophy of Humanism, which has been ruled a religion by the U.S.S.C. (Supreme Court).

HOPE FOR AMERICA
I am convinced that the single most productive solution for America is  the generation of home-eductaed children from the 1980's forward.  When those young adults become active in the political arena with conviction and morality, perhaps the Country will have a chance!

CONGRESS
I say that, out of the 535 elected officials in Congress, most should be arrested for their activities as elected officials.  During the obamacare debates, the President actually bribed elected officials for their votes.  That is a criminal act, yet nothing was done.  I sent a letter of complaint to the Capitol Police and the FBI, only to have a sarcastic official tell me I need to check the definition of bribery.  Years ago, Bill Nelson's office sent me to the Capitol Police, and it took me 5 months to get a letter from the Chief of the Capitol Police, clearing me!  Then I was told by Representative Dave Weldon that the Capitol Police TELL our elected officials  to send complaining citizens to them (CAPITOL POLICE)!  So, WE THE PEOPLE seem to have no recourse. 

CURRENT ADMINISTRATION
I still say he is not qualified to run for President.  To me, it is simple.  If he had a legitimate birth record, he would have shown it years ago and put it to rest.  Instead, he has spent millions to keep it hidden.  There is no such record! He has hired corrupt people who have no desire to make our Country better.  They refuse to defend current laws.  They ignore Congressional subpoenas. They lie as a routine.  They have no respect for our heritage, and they have gone around the world making apologies for the United States of America.  Even the President has said that America has acted arrogant at times.  Pride in who we are and what we have accomplished is totally acceptable.  Arrogance has never been an accurate way to describe the USA before obama! In early 2012, the President said that wealthy people should pay higher taxes as a way of saying 'thank you for allowing me to live in America'.  The list is endless as to how corrupt and inept the current Administration is.

BIPARTISAN
When a political Party loses control of the House, Senate or the White House, they begin to talk of being "Bipartisan'.  The LOSER wants this "Bipartisanship".  That is because they lost control.  I say the candidates run for office in their respective Districts and States. The winners march into the Congress and make decisions.  The Majority Party has control and they are responsible and accountable for the decisions made while they are in control.  As a direct result of those decisions on America, at the next election, WE THE PEOPLE make the decision if WE are pleased with the direction that Majority Party is taking us.  I say they should quit the whining and get to work for the people.

INTOLERANCE
People who talk the loudest about tolerance are usually the most intolerant.  Democrats are the worst!  They brag about a woman's right over her body for an abortion, yet they refuse to allow conservative voices the right to protect the life of a baby.  Black Americas are allowed to say anything, any time under any circumstance about Caucasian Americans, without fear of being held accountable.  If and when a Caucasian American makes a single comment, it is as if their life has been terminated.  Intolerance leads to the word "offended" which i another way of whining in public.  Get over it.  Grow up and let your voice be heard as others have that same freedom.

RELIGION
The intolerance issue shows itself openly in America in the arena of freedom of worship and the First Amendment.  Christians have taken a backseat to this freedom, and I am ONE VOICE saying enough is enough.  We see lawsuits all around the Country reducing Christian influence.  Christmas holiday has been renamed. In June, 2011, a Texas Judge ordered a high school not to do anything religious, and threatened to put the Superintendent in jail if anyone did!  Oh there is so much on this one. Muslims and Atheists have more protection that does the Church in America today.

 "MODERATE MUSLIMS"
People are constantly asking why it is that "moderate" Muslims do not speak out against the terrorists, jihadists and militant Muslims.  The answer really is an easy one.  It is a proven fact that the terrorists have killed their own Muslim brothers.  That is an established fact!  So, suppose these "moderate", "peace-loving" Muslims speak out against the terrorists.  Then suppose that Americans continue own spineless and cowardice way of trying to 'get along' with people who want to destroy our way of life.  At some point, the terrorists will defeat us on our own soil, and we will become a Muslim country under Sharia Law.  At that point, the new regime under terrorist leadership will kill those 'peace-loving', 'moderate' Muslims who spoke out!  I say the reason ANY so called 'peace-loving, moderate' Muslim remains silent is because they see Americans as being weak and unwilling to stand up against the REAL terrorist! They see us as being cowards in the name of tolerance, and they are therefore certain that our cowardice will lead to our defeat and their death!  I say that when America really does stand up firmly against Islamic terrorists, then we might see those American Muslims stand by our side.  Until then, they will remain silent for the sake of their own necks!  So, the responsibility falls on AMERICAN COURAGE.

I proudly admit to being opinionated!  I make no apology for being opinionated.  I am able to speak my opinion and support my thoughts with accurate information.  This blog will be more of a NO-SPIN zone than Bill O'Reilly!  He repeatedly allows his guests to spin answers and avoid tough questions.  I will use this ONE VOICE to be just that!  I pray that others will stand up and speak out as a result of reading these comments.  Now it is time for me to start sending out blogs!  

What to expect

This blog is years in the making.  I have been a voice for so many people on so many levels, but I have never put my thoughts in a blog.  For many years, I have been writing  'letters-to-the-editor', and have had them printed in numerous newspapers across the country.  Just this week, Bill O'Reilly had John Stossel on his show.  Stossel had a creative idea and O'Reilly loved it.  I have been saying that same thing for over a year! 

With this blog, I will put my thoughts in print.  I will challenge.  I will admonish and I will call out wrongs. I will also give answers and hope.  As you read, it is my desire that I whet your appetite to speak up and be a voice yourself.  I will be a voice for Christians being PERSECUTED.  I will be a voice for WE THE PEOPLE who have been more than fed up with elected officials.  I will be a voice for practical daily living, and I will be a voice for restoring honor in America and in American  families.  Our Country has such a rich heritage, and we have all but squandered it away with our arrogance and greed and irresponsible Government. Let's get started
